الجهة الرسمية المسؤولة عن تنظيم وتطوير رياضة الكرة الحديدية في ليبيا، ينتمي الاتحاد إلى الاتحاد الدولي للكرة الحديدية ويمثل ليبيا في المحافل الدولية. The official body responsible for organizing and developing Bowls sport in Libya. The federation is a member of the International Bowls Federation and represents Libya in international arenas.
تأسس الاتحاد الليبي للكرة الحديدية ليكون الجهة الراعية الرسمية لهذه الرياضة في ربوع ليبيا، حيث ينظم البطولات المحلية في تخصصاتها المختلفة — القصير والرافا والطويل — ويعمل على انتشار اللعبة وتطويرها وتأهيل اللاعبين والحكام. The Libyan Bowls Federation was established as the official governing body for this sport across Libya. It organizes local championships — Pétanque, Raffa, and Lyonnaise — and works to spread the game, develop it, and qualify players and referees.

تنقسم رياضة الكرة الحديدية إلى ثلاثة تخصصات رئيسية تُقام فيها المنافسات الرسمية Bowls sport is divided into three main disciplines in which official competitions are held
Pétanque
اللعبة الكلاسيكية حيث يقف اللاعبون داخل دائرة ويرمون الكرات الحديدية نحو كرة الهدف، وتُلعب فردياً وزوجياً وثلاثياً. The classic game where players stand inside a circle and throw steel balls toward the target ball (jack). Played in singles, doubles, and triples formats.
Raffa
تخصص يتميز بأسلوب الرمي المتدحرج على الأرض، ويُعدّ من أكثر التخصصات شعبية في المنطقة العربية وليبيا. A discipline characterized by rolling throws along the ground. It is one of the most popular disciplines in the Arab world and Libya.
Lyonnaise
تُلعب على مسافات أطول من القصير، وتشمل منافسات تقليدية ومركبة وزوجية، وتتطلب دقة عالية ومهارة في التحكم بالكرة. Played over longer distances than Pétanque, including traditional, combined, and doubles competitions. Requires high precision and ball control skill.
يشرف الاتحاد على تنظيم سلسلة من البطولات السنوية على المستوى المحليThe federation oversees a series of annual tournaments at the national level
البطولة الوطنية الكبرى — الدورة الرابعة عشرة. تُقام سنوياً وتجمع المشاركين من مختلف مناطق ليبيا.The major national championship — 14th edition. Held annually, gathering participants from all regions of Libya.
منافسات متخصصة في تخصص القصير على المستوى الفردي والزوجي ومنافسة الدقة.Specialized competitions in Pétanque at singles, doubles, and precision levels.
منافسات الرافا في تخصصاتها الثلاثة: الفردي والزوجي والثلاثي، مفتوحة للفرق والأندية الليبية.Raffa competitions in all three formats: singles, doubles, and triples. Open to all Libyan clubs and teams.
منافسات الطويل بأنواعها: التقليدي الزوجي والمركب والدقة والتصاعي.Lyonnaise competitions: traditional doubles, combined, precision, and progressive formats.
انطلقت منافسات بطولة ليبيا للكرة الحديدية بمشاركة واسعة من الأندية والفرق الليبية في تخصصات القصير للفردي والزوجي والدقة، ومنافسات الرافا، وذلك تحت إشراف الاتحاد الليبي للكرة الحديدية في مقره بطرابلس. The Libya Bowls Championship kicked off with wide participation from Libyan clubs and teams across Pétanque singles, doubles, precision disciplines and Raffa competitions, under the supervision of the Libyan Bowls Federation in Tripoli.
